I made Italian egg sauce, zabaione. It’s a quick, easy, light and delicious dessert. Even though this is an Italian dessert, it reminds me of Japan because I had it at my favorite Japanese restaurant in Tokyo :)

今日はザバイヨーネというイタリアの卵ソースのレシピを紹介したいと思います。元々はイタリアのデザートですが、私は以前帰国した際にこのデザートを日本食のレストランで食べたので、なんだか日本を思い出す食べ物の一つです^^  簡単に出来て、とっても美味しいので、是非試してみて下さい。


I had it at Japanese restaurant, Ishikawa. They mix egg sauce with whipped heavy cream and top with white wine jelly.


They place the fruits in the bottom and top with the egg cream and then bake or torch like a cream brûlée.

【Ingredients for one serving】
1 egg yolk
1.5Tbsp sugar
1.5Tbsp wine
Orange zest and fruit of your choice.
(I used strawberry, blueberry, raspberry)

卵黄 1こ
お砂糖 大さじ1.5位
ワイン 大さじ1.5位
