A couple of weeks ago, I made macarons. I used a recipe from here. Joe and I took a macaron making class last year. ( Joe’s blog)

ちょっと前にマカロンを作りました。(英語ですが)レシピはこちらのものを使用しました

This time I didn’t use any food coloring and I kind of like this simple look. The trickiest part of making a cute macaron is the shell. If you overmix or undermix it, the shell might collapse and won’t be smooth looking.

今回、私は着色料を使いませんでした。でもこのシンプルな感じも結構お気に入りですよ。マカロンをつくるので1番難しいと思うのは、シェルを混ぜる作業です。混ぜすぎちゃったら、変にひび割れたり、分くらみ方が凸凹だったりします。

Before baking. You have to dry them for at least 30 mins.

If you don’t dry your macarons, you won’t get nice ridges
